Our Commercial Driver License (CDL) services are available by appointment only and exclusively at our Driver License Branch.
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations require you to certify under one of four categories of CDL operation before obtaining or renewing a CDL. For more information, visit the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' CDL medical certification requirements page. You may also be eligible to update your medical certification online instead of visiting a branch.
If you're applying for or renewing a CDL with a hazmat endorsement, you must complete the online hazmat application before scheduling an appointment at our branch. For more details, visit the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' hazmat information page.
Please note, we do not administer CDL driving skills road tests at our branches. For information on CDL road tests and state-approved providers, refer to our CDL publication.
