Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Hunting & Fishing

Processing options:

Florida offers a wide variety of hunting and fishing licenses and permits for recreational and commercial purposes and for both nonresidents and residents. To purchase a resident license, you must meet residency requirements. For acceptable proof of residency, visit the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Florida residency page.

To purchase your license online, visit FWC's hunting and fishing license website. If you have questions about purchasing your license online or have any technical problems, please contact that agency through the MyFWC website or by phone at (850) 488-3641.

The following services require an appointment at our Driver License Branch and are not offered online:

  • Charter Captain and Charter Boat Licenses
  • Pier Licenses
  • Recreational Vessel Licenses
  • Tarpon Tags

Note: Our office does not issue the Persons with Disabilities Fishing and/or Hunting License. This must be obtained online from FWC.

Visit our Help Center for more information about specific hunting and fishing licenses:
