Tax Certificates

Property Tax

Processing options:

If property taxes are not paid by the due date, they become delinquent and may incur additional penalties and interest. If these taxes remain unpaid on or before June 1st, our office conducts an annual tax certificate sale, issuing a certificate against the property. Payment of the taxes cancels this certificate.

For more information about tax certificates, visit our Tax Certificates & Tax Deeds publication in the Help Center.

Email Alerts

Sign up for property tax email alerts to receive email notification when taxes are due, a payment is made, a discount period is ending, and taxes become delinquent. View our email alerts signup video to get started.

Those certificates that are not purchased through our annual tax certificate sale, default to the county and can be purchased at any time.
